Have you had your fill of holiday festivities yet? No? Of course not… the limit does not exist! If you haven’t already noticed—the staff at Ride the Ducks LOVES the holiday season.

Over the years, we’ve dressed up as wacky winter characters, we’ve gone caroling through Seattle on a Duck, we’ve plugged holiday lights into every outlet we can find, and the office is abuzz with cheerful chatter about our upcoming staff holiday party. We’d love to celebrate with you, too! Hop #onaduck this December and experience our original land and water tour with a festive twist! Hope we see you there!

Seattle is a city that has so much to offer during the holiday season, so we want to hook you up with our list of Seattle’s Top 5 Holiday Attractions. In no particular order…

wildlights 5. Wild Lights at the Woodland Park Zoo
Let it glow! Grab your loved ones and explore the incredible light displays at the Woodland Park Zoo this season featuring wild creatures from far off lands in two and three dimensional recreations. You can also go for a night ride on the historic carousel, partake in an indoor snowball fight, take a photo with Santa, and even meet some of his real reindeer!

winterfest 4. Winterfest at the Seattle Center
Always a dazzling display! You’ll find a plethora of ongoing free and affordable entertainment at Winterfest. Take in the sights of the miniature train encircling a charming winter village, listen to joyful live musical performances, marvel at icy creations as sculptors go to work before your eyes, and lace up your ice skates with the whole family. So much fun to be had!

harry-potter-gingerbread 3. Gingerbread Village at the Sheraton Hotel
Prepare to be amazed by the tastiest-looking village you’ll ever see! Local culinary magicians and architects team up each year to create this larger-than-life display. The 2016 exhibit is inspired by the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. How magical! Make a day of it with a Duck tour followed by a short monorail ride over to the Sheraton, where the Gingerbread Village is free to view in the lobby!

Ever heard of a floating parade? Get out on the water and celebrate the happiest time of the year with Argosy Cruises! Board a decked-out Christmas Ship (think lights, Santa, live musical acts, and choir performances over a state-of-the-art sound system), and parade around the Puget Sound to several waterfront cities spreading cheer to all. Rather watch the festivities from shore? Spectators gather at city parks and beaches along the parade route and enjoy the musical performances around a roaring bonfire. Fun for family and friends of all ages!

A holiday performance like no other! Watch as costumed characters, toy soldier drummers, and musical performers march and dance in the streets between Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square, and Bellevue Place. Celebrate the spirit of the holiday with electrifying music, glittering lights, and a guaranteed snowfall during each performance!
