In Seattle, the annual “My Macy’s Holiday Parade” kicks off the holiday season each year on the day after Thanksgiving. This tradition has carried on for 27 years in the Emerald City! With bellies full of turkey leftovers, kids from 1 – 92 gathered on the sidewalks of downtown Seattle to catch an early glimpse of Santa on November 24th. Captain Bjorn Toorun drove the snowflake-decorated Duck through city streets lined with holiday-loving folks, while Tour Guide Heidi Claire waved at the crowd dressed as one of Santa’s helpers! Waddling behind the Duck was an adorable group of ducklings sporting bright yellow rain gear and ducky umbrellas. All kinds of costumed characters and inflatable floats made an appearance, cruising along to the tune of holiday music and festive marching bands medleys. It was a fun-filled morning that sure put us in the holiday...
