Tour Guide Ellie Kopter Ellie Kopter is new to the Seattle area but has lived in the Pacific Northwest for most of her life! She used to work for the Tillamook Cheese Factory as a cheese sample cutter (that’s right, she cut the cheese) and decided she LOVED introducing people to cool stuff! When a job as a Duck Tour Guide opened up, she jumped at the opportunity! When she’s not working, Ellie loves movies, board games and exploring her new city! As you can imagine, being a tour guide at Ride the Ducks is a ton of fun and you get to listen to a lot of great music. Our Quackmasters of Fun have compiled a Spotify playlist of some of their favorite songs that you might hear on your Duck Tour.   Keep up with Ellie’s latest adventures in Duck Diaries: Volume IV! Hurricane Relief Fund

Each day at Ride the Ducks of Seattle we’re lucky enough to meet people from lands near and far. We welcome them with open arms, board ’em up on the Ducks and send them off to have the time of their lives with our Wacky Tour Guides. When we heard that some of our distant friends in Houston were going through a tough time–we wanted to help! Throughout the year, we donate gift certificates to hundreds of organizations in support of fundraising efforts for all kinds of amazing causes. This time, we wanted to do something a little different. For two weeks in September, we donated $1 from each Wacky Quacker purchase to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. Ride the Ducks of Seattle is happy to announce we raised $1,908 over 15 days to go towards the Relief Fund, and we couldn’t have done it without YOU! Thanks to everyone who purchased a Wacky Quacker! Keep quackin’,...

Wade Forrit

Tour Guide Wade Forrit Wade Forrit has studied the ancient art of joke-kwan-do from such great masters as his dad, his high-school drama teacher and Groucho Marx. Combined with a brain full of dinner-party trivia Wade is back for his second season to show you his favorite parts of Seattle, from the west coast’s largest fidget spinner to a dog with a man’s face in fremont. He never leaves the nest without his squid hat or trusty spyglass. With all the things you’ll see, you’ll never be able to tell that Wade is also extremely nearsighted, hence the spyglass. As you can imagine, being a tour guide at Ride the Ducks is a ton of fun and you get to listen to a lot of great music. Our Quackmasters of Fun have compiled a Spotify playlist of some of their favorite songs that you might hear on your Duck Tour.   Back to Tour...

Sonny Daze

Tour Guide Sonny Daze “Welcome to Fremont, Center of the Universe”. That’s the city sign the Duck passes as it drives over the Fremont Bridge. Sonny Daze knows that sign well since he put it up. As a playful ‘Fremonster,’ he is delighted to welcome everyone to his neighborhood–and even operates a walking tour out of Fremont! Sonny likes to tell stories – which is good thing to like when you’re a Tour Guide! He honed this skill by being a desert farmer, kindergarten teacher, carpenter and entrepreneur. Sonny Daze has called Seattle his home for the past 38 years and loves to share its story with visitors and locals alike. He is married, owns a spoiled-rotten dog, and has raised numerous foster children in his day. During the winter he is a teacher and tutor. During the summer, when he is not giving tours, he enjoys camping, hiking and appreciating the beauty of the Northwest. As you can imagine, being a tour guide at Ride the Ducks is a ton of fun and you get to listen to a lot of great music.
