Rik O’Shay

Posted by on Aug 24, 2017 in Uncategorized

Captain Rik O’Shay Captain Rik O’Shay is a good ol’ cowpoke from Wedgewood. That mullet? It’s a wig. (Shhh. Don’t let on that you know.) Captain Rik hopes someday to be as smart as Dr. Phil and as rich as Oprah. It might not be obvious, but Captain Rik is Fabio’s stand-in, and is the ping pong champion of Seattle. When not driving the Ducks, he can usually be found watching ‘Dancing with the Stars!’ or ‘The Bachelor’ and participating in several of the online discussion groups about those shows. His dream is to one day meet Wynonna Judd. As you can imagine, being a tour guide at Ride the Ducks is a ton of fun and you get to listen to a lot of great music. Our Quackmasters of Fun have compiled a Spotify playlist of some of their favorite songs that you might hear on your Duck Tour.   Back to Tour...

Tour Guide Phlip Dover Captain Philip Dover loves being a Duck captain. Wouldn’t you? It’s easy to spot him; he’s the captain in the antique leather flying helmet and goggles. Captain Phlip likes to restore antique cars, particularly English ones. He’s a pretty fair cook… or so he says. But his favorite food is popcorn popped on his huge ol’ theater popcorn machine! As you can imagine, being a tour guide at Ride the Ducks is a ton of fun and you get to listen to a lot of great music. Captain Chance O’Rayne Ordinarily, if there’s a chance of rain, you’d carry an umbrella. But there’s nothing ordinary about Captain Chance O’Rayne; his Pacific Northwesterness is proven by the fact that he’s never even owned one! Hailing from the soggy woods of the Kitsap Peninsula, Capt. Chance’s family tree is dripping with artists, sailors, loggers, skiers, and car salesmen. Instead of a bus, he rode the ferry to Seattle to study theatre and pre-law at the University of Washington so he could be a Husky just like his parents and childhood pets (Go Dawgs!). Poring over his options after graduation, he made a precipitous choice to be an actor and musician. But, the memory of a Duck tour he took in college came flooding back to him, and the clouds parted as he realized that this could be the perfect job: Fun facts and information, loud music, bad jokes, puns, and boating? The convergence of all these elements left him thunderstruck, and Chance O’Rayne blew in and showered us with his talents here at Ride the Ducks. He loves working at Ride the Ducks of Seattle because it offers a sprinkling of all the things he loves to do and even gave him his first featured TV appearance on...
