Bridges! (Seattle Fun Fact #93)

As we are literally surrounded by water, it is no wonder that Seattle Department of Transportation operates over 149 bridges throughout the city. The Fremont Bridge, which opened in 1917, opens an average of 35 times a day! Have you ever been stuck there? It’s the busiest drawbridge in the country!
