2nd Annual STUFF THE DUCK Toy Drive

Posted by on Nov 26, 2013 in Community

This holiday season, Ride the Ducks is proud to support Starlight Children’s Foundation Northwest to bring joy to seriously-ill children and their families! We’re kicking off our Stuff the Duck toy drive with Starlight and the Macy’s Parade in downtown Seattle, so when you see Starlight families on the Ducks on Friday, be sure to wave! It’s time to Stuff the Duck with toys and games for Starlight!  Starting on Friday, November 29, Ride the Ducks of Seattle is hosting a toy drive to collect toys and games for Starlight children and their families and we need your help! Starlight Northwest works hard year-round to help these seriously-ill children and their parents and siblings cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities. We’re collecting new, unwrapped toys and games for Starlight families around Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. When the Duck is full of toys, Ride the Ducks will add $10,000 and donate everything to Starlight Children’s Foundation Northwest! We need your help to Stuff a Duck full of toys! When you donate a new, unwrapped toy to Ride the Ducks anytime after Thanksgiving and before December 18, 2013, you’ll get $4 off a Holiday DuckTour or $10 off our Original Land and Water tour!...

Starlight Day at Ride the Ducks!

Posted by on Aug 25, 2009 in Community

The photos are in from Starlight Day at Ride the Ducks! Ride the Ducks has supported the Starlight Children’s Foundation of Washington since 2008 and this past April, Captains Rocky Bottom, Matt Agascar and Whoo Wa took three Ducks to Swedish Hospital to pick up more than 100 seriously ill children and their families for an afternoon on the Ducks! Check out the photos to see how much fun they had! Thanks to Mark Best for the awesome photos! Starlight Children’s Foundation of Washington is a non-profit with a mission to help seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities. Ride the Ducks is proud to support a great Washington organization where all donations stay here in Washington. A few weeks after this event, Ride the Ducks donated $5 of every ticket to the Starlight Foundation and raised almost $5,000 for this great organization.
