Which Location Is Closer
Our Seattle Center location is a convenient walk from the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Children’s Museum and many other Seattle Center attractions. If you’re in the downtown shopping district, you can also travel via the Seattle Monorail to Seattle Center for a short walk to us. If you’re not sure if Seattle Center is the closest departure location, let us help you decide or tweet at us!
Ride the Ducks does not own or operate any of the nearby parking lots, but there is ample parking near this location. The Seattle Center Parking Garage is one block north of us at 5th & Harrison (516 Harrison Street, 98109). The rates vary depending on the time of year, but typically, you can pay a reasonable flat rate and park for up to 10 hours. There is also street parking in the neighborhoods around the area. The tour is 90 minutes long, so if your parking is limited by time, please be sure you purchase enough time.
We understand that if you’re not familiar with the city, driving around in circles without a clue where to park isn’t how you want to spend your day. If this is you, we’d encourage you to park at the Seattle Center parking garage. You can Ride the Ducks from our Seattle Center location and then ride the Seattle Monorail to Westlake Center and easily access downtown Seattle and Pike Place Market.
Got stuff? At our Seattle Center location, we can store luggage, walkers and wheelchairs. We also have convenient stroller parking for families with young children. It’s a great place for large group departures and there is also a gift shop on-site with souvenirs, apparel, food and drinks!
Our Seattle Center location is very easy to find! We’re right across the street from the Space Needle and the MoPOP, near Seattle Center and McDonalds. If you’re taking the I-5 freeway, use the Mercer Street exit. Click here for printable directions. If you’re downtown, you can ride from our Westlake Center location or take the Seattle Monorail to get here. Look for Vinnie on top of our blue building!
