Hot Off the Press!
Ride the Ducks is thrilled to announce year-round land and water tours! Amphibious tours will depart daily from 5th Avenue & Broad Street, across from the Space Needle 362 days per year. (Ride the Ducks is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.) Tours currently depart from 11am to 3pm.
Ride the Ducks amphibious tours show both tourists and local Seattle-ites a unique look at Seattle, complete with jokes, historical information, group participation and a breath-taking view of the skyline from Lake Union. Great for groups and families, it’s a memorable event most people are not soon to forget. After all, you haven’t seen Seattle until you’ve seen it from a Duck!
“Here in Seattle, there are a lot of sunny or overcast days when it’s not raining that are fantastic for sightseeing! We added blankets on board the Ducks a few years ago and it’s made a big difference in how comfortable our guests are. Plus, the windows roll up, so it’s surprisingly warm,” says Brian Tracey, President/CEO of Ride the Ducks of Seattle.
During the summer months, tours operate from two locations: 5th Avenue and Broad Street, as well as Westlake Center at 4th Avenue & Pine Street in the heart of downtown Seattle and just minutes from Pike Place Market and the Convention Center. Departure times range from 9:20am to 7pm during the summer.
