The Great Seattle Fire (Seattle Fun Fact #18)

June 6, 1889. The city burned and we re-built on the 2nd story, creating an underground full of … well, LIFE! (We’re paraphrasing, but if you’d been on a Duck Tour or Bill Speidel’s Underground Tour, you’d know!) On Saturday, we celebrated this epic event in Seattle history with the annual Pioneer Square Seattle Fire Festival!
