We Day in Seattle

George Bernard Shaw once said, “Youth is wasted on the young.” On March 27, 2013, we’ll see firsthand that, here in Seattle, the youth are proving Shaw wrong and actively making the world a better place! Next Wednesday, tens of thousands of young people will gather at the Key Arena at Seattle Center for We Day and launch a year of actions for social change.

We’re inspired by these students and we hope these great people doing great deeds will have a chance to see our beautiful city while they’re in town! To show our thanks, we’ve created a $21 student rate to be available Tuesday, March 26, 2013 through Friday, March 29, 2013 for anyone showing a valid student ID. It’s just something small, but it’s our way of saying a big heartfelt “Thank you” to a generation of youth who are doing amazing things with their time.

You don’t need a code or a number – just book the student rate online or walk up to the ticket booth and ask for the student rate! You’ll need to show your ID when you pick up your tickets.

Born out of a dream, We Day was created by two brothers to bring a generation together. You can’t buy tickets to We Day – you earn tickets through service. Students have held coin drives and bake sales; they’ve convinced their teachers to have dress down days. They’ve hosted dances in high school gymnasiums and they’ve logged more than 5.1 million volunteer hours.
