Perched on Queen Anne Hill sits one of Seattle’s greatest panoramic views of the city: Kerry Park. The land was given to the city in 1927 by Mr. & Mrs. Albert Sperry Kerry Sr.—“so that all who stop here may enjoy this view.” As seen on TV shows like Frasier and Grey’s Anatomy, you can catch all-encompassing views of downtown Seattle, Elliot Bay, West Seattle, Bainbridge Island, and the ever-impressive Mount Rainier.

Few spots can compete with Kerry Park’s incredible sweeping views. Each day, professional and amateur photographers line the metal rails and concrete benches awaiting sunrise, sunset and everything in between—in hopes of capturing the perfect Seattle snapshot. Can you blame them?!

Kerry Park features a steel art installation called “Changing Form,” which has been in place since 1986. When you look (or take photos) through the structure, the Seattle skyline is perfectly framed by the elegant curves of the art piece.

We recommend you bring a Starbucks coffee, a Top Pot Doughnut and a friend (human or furry) for ultimate enjoyment!
