The 45th Annual Folklife Festival is one of our favorite Memorial Day Weekend traditions! From Friday to Monday, Seattle Center is transformed into a hub for art and culture with 24 stages and over 800 scheduled performances ranging from music, dance, visual arts, film and multimedia. The family-friendly Discovery Zone offers hands-on activities and interactive workshops for families of all ages, and the new Open-Air Dance stage will feature dance performances from across the globe. Star Trek Exploring New WorldsStar Trek: Exploring New Worlds

Summer Concerts at the Locks
The 2016 Chittenden Locks Summer Concerts kick off this Sunday at 2:00pm with a performance by Boeing Employees Concert Band, featuring lively marches to show tunes and classics! This annual series is great for all ages, free to the public, and is set at one of our favorite parks in Seattle. The Hiram M. Chittenden Locks are the nation’s busiest with almost 50,000 vessels utilizing the locks between Puget Sound and Salmon Bay. It is also home to the popular salmon fish ladder (largest runs are June through October), and the Carl S. English Jr. Botanical Garden.
