Andy Waywego

Tour Guide Andy Waywego Andy Waywego grew up in Indiana and lived there most of his life, but since moving to WA with his wife 3 years ago, he’s never looked back! Andy LOVES marine mammals (especially whales) and mountaineering- and do you know what they don’t have in Indiana? Either of those! That’s why he thinks Washington State is the bee’s knees, and wants to let every guest know about all the cool things they can do here. Andy’s favorite part of being a Tour Guide is telling interesting stories to people who haven’t heard them yet- especially about Seattle area entrepreneurs like Paul Allen, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Bill Boeing, John Nordstrom, and more. His most interesting, personal story: “My wife and I love Adam Sandler and his movies. We communicate mostly with quotes from his movies like Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison. Our wedding had an Adam Sandler movie theme. The song selection was exclusively songs from his movies, and the best part was appearance of a giant penguin (like in Happy Gilmore) that surprised us on the dance floor at the reception.” As you can imagine, being a tour guide at Ride the Ducks is a ton of fun and you get to listen to...

Wade Forrit

Tour Guide Wade Forrit Wade Forrit has studied the ancient art of joke-kwan-do from such great masters as his dad, his high-school drama teacher and Groucho Marx. Combined with a brain full of dinner-party trivia Wade is back for his second season to show you his favorite parts of Seattle, from the west coast’s largest fidget spinner to a dog with a man’s face in fremont. He never leaves the nest without his squid hat or trusty spyglass. With all the things you’ll see, you’ll never be able to tell that Wade is also extremely nearsighted, hence the spyglass. As you can imagine, being a tour guide at Ride the Ducks is a ton of fun and you get to listen to a lot of great music. Sonny Daze

Tour Guide Sonny Daze “Welcome to Fremont, Center of the Universe”. That’s the city sign the Duck passes as it drives over the Fremont Bridge. Sonny Daze knows that sign well since he put it up. As a playful ‘Fremonster,’ he is delighted to welcome everyone to his neighborhood–and even operates a walking tour out of Fremont! Sonny likes to tell stories – which is good thing to like when you’re a Tour Guide! He honed this skill by being a desert farmer, kindergarten teacher, carpenter and entrepreneur. Sonny Daze has called Seattle his home for the past 38 years and loves to share its story with visitors and locals alike. He is married, owns a spoiled-rotten dog, and has raised numerous foster children in his day. During the winter he is a teacher and tutor. During the summer, when he is not giving tours, he enjoys camping, hiking and appreciating the beauty of the Northwest. As you can imagine, being a tour guide at Ride the Ducks is a ton of fun and you get to listen to a lot of great music. Tour Guide Chip Ahoy Chip Ahoy loves sports and spending time on his boat. He is not a big fan of vegetables and fruit, and does not believe they should never ever be on pizza. Chip has lived his whole life in Seattle (so far), but has traveled all over the world. Particular favorites? Australia, New Zealand, and Boston. If he couldn’t live in Seattle, he’d live in Boston. His two favorite baseball teams are the Red Sox and whoever is playing the Yankees. His secret desire is to be The Admiral… of ANYTHING. As you can imagine, being a tour guide at Ride the Ducks is a ton of fun and you get to listen to a lot of great music.
