Meet Ron, our Director of Tour Development!

Posted by on Apr 5, 2012 in Uncategorized

One of the many things we here at Ride the Ducks are proud of is our interesting, educational and fun-filled tours! From our Wacky Captains to all the local folklore we share on each tour, we strive to make our guests’ experience the best it can be. And that’s exactly where Ron jumps in! In addition to being a professional comedian and history buff, Ron brings his love of Seattle and dedication to all things FUN to our tour development! A typical day for Ron begins with a hot cup coffee (Seattle-brewed, of course) and a review of the day’s current events. “I read the paper from front to back and stay on top of Facebook, Twitter and other social media so I know exactly what’s going on in the city and what our guests want to know about.”   Ron joined Ride the Ducks almost two years ago. How many tours has Ron been on in his time here with us? “In that first summer alone, I rode on over 60 tours,” Ron said. If we didn’t know any better, we might say that he’s going for a world...

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and here at Ride the Ducks, we’d like to say “Thank You” to everyone who plays a role in making Ride the Ducks of Seattle one of the most fun attractions in the city. First and foremost, our team! We have an amazing team of Captains, Mechanics, Customer Service staff and office members who work tirelessly throughout the year to make sure that Ride the Ducks of Seattle is the safest, most fun attraction in the city. Backstage and front of house, we appreciate everything you do for our guests and our company. You are the best! And of course, let’s not forget, our dancin’ in the aisles, grinning from ear-to-ear guests! You are the reason we do this day in and day out every year! It makes us happy to see you happy.
