Life is about having fun!
We love our Red Hat Ladies, our Senior Centers, our “29-again” birthday parties and all of you who finally have it figured out: Life is about having fun! We love hosting Senior Groups on our Tours.
Get on a Duck for a one-of-a-kind excursion your senior groups will still be talking about at BINGO Night next week! Whether your group is young or just young at heart, you’ve never seen people sign-up for this month’s excursion so fast! No one wants to miss the #1 City Tour in Seattle!

Getting on a Duck
Our Ducks are easy to board with just eight steps to climb! The stairs have hand rails for support and although all passengers must be able to board and de-board the Ducks, we can offer a helping hand and start boarding a few minutes early so that no one feels rushed. Plus, we can store walkers, canes and wheelchairs in our ticket booth when you depart from our Seattle Center location.
A WWII amphibious landing craft!
The DUKW is an amphibious landing craft developed by the United States Army during World War II. It was designed to deliver cargo from ships at sea directly to the shore. DUKW is an acronym for the type of vehicle: D-built in 1942, U-amphibious 2½ ton truck, K-front wheel drive, W-rear wheel drive. It is equipped with a Higgins pump that could move 260 gallons of water a minute! (That’s more than two big blue recycle bins full of water every minute!) The DUKW could climb a 60% grade, broach an 18-inch high obstacle, carry a cargo load of 5,350 pounds, and hold 25 fully-equipped troops! Plus, it had a machine gun onboard! Our Ducks have been completely refurbished since those days, but there’s still a lot of history to our vehicles. Hop on board! We’d love to share it with you!
