Land to Water City Tour

Ride the Ducks: Your Seattle Experience Starts Here

Our guests love us

"Another great tour! This was our third time and our second time bringing someone with us who hadn't been on the Duck Tour. Our guests really enjoyed themselves. I like how Stormy gave some suggestions about places to go/ things to do around the city, like the downstairs stores in Pike's Market." Jennifer R from Gig Harbor, Washington"The tour was great and our Tour Guide was very informative and fun. He even drew us some of his own cartoon characters to take home. Recommend this tour especially if you are short on time. You get to see quite a lot of Seattle in a short period of time and the Duck ride makes it even more fun." Robyn S from Auckland, New Zealand"This was a lot of kid's first time on Ride the Ducks and they were asking us to take them back next summer. Our tour guide and driver were awesome!" Jordyn S from Everett, Washington

Your Seattle experience starts here. Ride the Ducks has been voted the #1 Seattle City Tour in Seattle for the past ten years. When you and your friends arrive in Seattle by plane, cruise ship, car or Seattle-style bicycle, Ride the Ducks of Seattle should be your first stop. Aren’t you curious why we’ve welcomed more than 3.5 million guests since 1997. Check out what others are sharing about their experience #onaduck!

Voted #1 Seattle City Tour for more than a decade!

We use songs and props to tell the stories of Seattle, so you may see a rubber chicken, silly hat or be surprised by a flying salmon (spoiler alert: it’s not a real salmon). It’s fun, clever and memorable, so allow yourself to have some fun and let loose a little… unless you’re enjoying one of our large group events, you’re never going to see these people again. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn and you may even roll your eyes, but in the end you’ll wonder: Why didn’t I do this earlier?

Part tour, part theatre, part stand-up comedy – Duck Tours are all that and a bag of chips*. Our Tour Guides combine current culture, historical info and trivia with sound bites and jokes (both good and “dad”) for a recipe that will kick start your Seattle adventure. Journey to the best neighborhoods and see all the highlights so you can learn where you want to go back and spend more time.
*Available in our gift shop for a small fee

There’s more to a Duck Tour than just jokes, so don’t think this is a kids’ tour (although, we are 100% family-friendly). Since 1851 when the Denny party landed on Alki, Seattle-ites have been solving problems to make Seattle even more spectacular. We shaved off the hilltops (yes, the hills used to be steeper!) and a very unique toilet issue of the late 1800’s by raising the streets. Weird, right? We’ll fill in the details on your tour.
